Hello local Chicagoland authors!
We’re so excited to welcome you to New Book Joy’s Local Author Palooza! We look forward to a fun afternoon of MEET + GREETS, BOOK PURCHASES + SIGNINGS, PHOTO OPS AND MORE BOOKISH FUN with a wide variety of local authors. This is a chance for readers to discover new titles, for fans to connect with their favorite writers, and for everyone to support Chicago’s bookish community.
This event will be held at Imperial Oak Brewing in Brookfield from 1-5 PM on March 21, 2026.
Each author will have their own exclusive spot to sell and sign books at their table (and can keep 100% of their profits!). We’ll also have our own New Book Joy table with themed reading pairings made by Chicago artists and even more books for sale from local authors who can’t make it to the event.
If you would like to participate, we ask that you pay the $50 fee above to reserve your display space by February 14, 2026.

PLEASE NOTE: Not everything that is available in our online collections is in-stock at our Booktique! If you order a book or product that is not readily available at either of our locations, we will notify you immediately via email, confirm your custom order approval, and order your item(s) right away (orders typically arrive within one week) OR we will suggest an in-stock substitution if your order is time-sensitive. We'll also suggest an alternative option if your requested book format is no longer available from our supplier.
