Local Readers (GROWN-UPS) - Join us for a *SPECIAL* AUDIOBOOK WALK (SILENT BOOK CLUB LISTENING PARTY EXPERIENCE + *OPTIONAL* MIX + MINGLE!) starting and ending at our New Book Joy Booktique in Edgebrook (5512 W Devon) - in celebration of Banned Books Week! (BONUS: ALL ATTENDEES WILL GET A FREE AUDIOBOOK CREDIT FROM OUR AMAZING AUDIOBOOK PARTNER: LIBRO.FM!!! We'll send along a list of suggested banned +/or challenged books that you can choose to download with your gift certificate.)
We'll meet at our bookstore, then embark on an hour-long quiet "reading" listening time adventure together while taking a walk to (and through!) the beautiful forest preserves across the street from our Booktique from 3-4 PM.* All attendees will enjoy their audiobooks of choice on their own portable devices, and though all audiobook platforms are permitted for the listening portion of our event, we encourage downloading the Libro.FM app (and selecting New Book Joy as your local bookstore) before the event so you're ready to receive your FREE AUDIOBOOK CREDIT.
